Why am I starting a blog?

As most of my friends have noticed, I spend a lot of time in my  head.  I like to think this results in many Totally Awesome Ideas.

Having Totally Awesome Ideas results in two major problems.

First, in order for any idea to work (whether or not it is Totally Awesome), someone must implement it.  My husband likes to point out it is like Thomas Edison's 1/99 principle of genius.  They are 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration.  I'm really good at the inspiration part.  In fact, since I spend so much time in my head I use up about 99% that way.  Don't get me wrong. I do know how to perspire; it's just that it is usually from the heat.

The second problem stems from the first.  Since I do the inspiration part, it most often must be up to someone else to expend the perspiration. Whenever he hears me say, "I have a great idea!" my husband becomes invisible (or at least hard to find), so I need to tell my ideas to other people.

This is why I have started a blog.  I will share my Totally Awesome Ideas, and you may decide amongst yourselves who gets to sweat!  And please feel free to refer any and all of your friends, enemies, family, and acquaintances here if you feel they are the appropriate sweaters.

Perhaps some of you are aspiring inventors.  Feel free to look here for invention inspiration.  Some of my ideas are political in nature; they especially have to do with governing and taxing.  Since I cannot be sure that my blog will come to the attention of the appropriate politicos, I hope you will be sure to share those ideas with your mayor, governor, sheriff, congressperson, clergy, school board...you get the picture.  After all, we elected them to sweat for us.

Check back frequently.  Sometimes there's a dry spell; sometimes Totally Awesome Ideas come in groups.  And hey, if you have a Totally Awesome Idea, let's talk!  Post a comment.

Well, I don't mean to leave you in suspense, but I'm going to get back into my head and see what Totally Awesome Ideas come to mind.  Meanwhile, check out my postings on https://www.facebook.com/TotallyAwesomeIdeas .
